Position: Full-Time Head of School
Head of School – Southshire Community School (North Bennington, VT)

Position: : After School Program Leader
Southshire Community School is seeking an eager individual to serve as the After School Program Leader. The after-school program at Southshire Community School is designed to provide stimulating activities under adult supervision to a small group of children aged 5 to 13 years. This is a hands-on program in which the leader is expected to guide the children in directed play, creative activities, and outdoor time. The After-School Program is from 3:00-5:15 PM, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar.

Position: Teachers Assistant
This position is responsible for upholding the child-centered approach that supports the individual needs of the student in accordance with the school’s mission and vision. The teacher assistant (TA) will work closely with the school teachers to provide students with additional attention and instruction. The TA will review lessons the teacher introduces in the classroom with students individually and or in small groups to help reinforce the lesson. This individual will also provide feedback to teachers for monitoring student progress and meet regularly with teachers to discuss lesson plans and students’ development. The TA will work with the teacher to provide individualized attention to children who need additional support. The TA will assist teachers in supervising children both in the classroom and outside of the classroom, such as at lunch, recess, and on field trips.
