A dedicated group of parents, community members and educators lead our all volunteer School Board. Southshire is made stronger and more secure with their committed leadership and participation in governance. The Board meetings are open to the entire Southshire community. Attendance is encouraged and service is valued.

Rhys has facilitated collaborative media productions, and developed media literacy curricula with educators and organizations throughout the country and abroad, primarily within New York City public schools starting. Rhys has taught graduate-level media literacy courses at Columbia University Teachers College, and has been visiting faculty at the Summer Institute in Digital Literacy at the Harrington School of Communications at the University of Rhode Island and the Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change. As Secretary, Rhys supports the school by keeping notes, minutes, and sharing essential information with the community.
