A guiding principle of Southshire is enabling access and equity for all children to benefit from our educational approach in a highly responsive way. To be successful in this goal, we rely on an annual fundraising appeal. We welcome your financial support of our school.

Every donation has an impact on our students as it helps us to provide them with the tools they need to come self-learners that can identify problems, find solutions, and help others along the way.

Each year Southshire sends out an annual fund so that Parents, Alumni, and Friends can help us continue to do what we love the most, which is give the students a curriculum that allows them to develop critical thinking skills, value themselves and others as creative contributing members of a community, see themselves as problem solvers, love learning for its own sake, and individuals who view learning as a lifelong process. Field Trips

Field Trips are a special part of student learning. There are many benefits to students participating in field trips. Field Trips allow students to create connections to learning material discussed in the classroom. Through fields trips students can relate in class material to real world examples which contributes to their understanding of the world. In particular, field trips help Southshire meet the mission of addressing the whole child. Field trips help to strengthen student observation skills, knowledge on a subject, and expand awareness of the world and in particular the community in which the student is apart of.

Financial Aid

In the 2022-2023 school year we will formalize a financial aid program to improve access to Southshire for all children and their families regardless of financial means. To do this we have set a fundraising goal of $30,000.

General Donation

We welcome contributions in any amount for any reason. We still have the usual costs of running the school. Undesignated gifts will be used to support the general operation of the school. We also welcome contributions of time and experience if you have an interest in being directly engaged with our school community.
