How wide is the brain?

“The brain is wider than the sky” ~ Emily Dickinson. In yesterday’s science class students discovered the meaning behind this quote. We had a guest come in to provide students with a hands-on science class which involved looking at neurons through a microscope, seeing first hand the conflict between perception and reality through optical illusions, and dissecting a sheep's brain!
