After School Teacher

Meegan Winslow

Meegan is a former high school Spanish teacher, and has held a variety of other roles leading and supporting educational programs for learners of all ages. She enjoys learning to see the world from different perspectives, and especially loves listening to young people as they narrate their thoughts and experiences.

Cross-cultural work has been the uniting theme of her career. She is a returned Peace Corps volunteer, has worked as a professional Spanish medical interpreter, been involved with Vermont’s Migrant Education Program, and most recently has managed Bennington’s refugee resettlement effort. She is the parent of an irresistibly fun one-year-old, who you are likely to see tagging along as her Assistant.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from UVM.
